Application Fee:
- One-time fee of €25
- Exempt for members transferring from another Toastmasters club.
Membership Fee:
- Standard rate: €19/month
- Discounted rate: €12/month (for students)
Pro-Rated Membership Fees
Toastmasters terms run in six-month periods, from April 1 to September 30 and from October 1 to March 31. So, when you join Toastmasters, you’ll be paying for the months remaining in either of these two terms depending on when you start.
Payment Example
New Member, Standard Rate:
As a new member joining in May, you would pay for the remaining five months of the current term (May to September). The payment would include €19 per month for 5 months, plus a one-time application fee of €25, for a total of €120.

Who makes up the leadership team at Mercury Toastmasters?
Mercury Toastmasters Berlin is run by a dedicated volunteer team elected annually by the members. Our leadership team includes the President, Vice President of Education (VPE), Vice President of Membership, Vice President of Public Relations, Secretary, Treasurer, and Sergeant at Arms. Is the renewal of my membership automatic?
Membership renewals are not automatic, but we’ll remind you when it’s time to renew. You can choose to renew your membership semi-annually or annually by paying the renewal fee.
Is Toastmasters only for public speaking?
No, Toastmasters also focuses on leadership development. Members have the opportunity to take on roles like club officer or mentor, which help build leadership and management skills.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes, you must be at least 18 years old to join Toastmasters, as the program is designed for adults to develop professional communication and leadership skills.
What is the obligation of being a member?
Members are encouraged to regularly attend meetings, participate actively in roles, and work through their chosen Pathways curriculum. While participation is flexible, involvement is key to personal growth.
What if I’m already a Toastmasters member from another club?
If you’re transferring from another Toastmasters club, you don’t need to pay the application fee again. You’ll only need to pay the local club’s membership fee.
