Toastmasters International

Founded in 1924, Toastmasters International is a global non-profit dedicated to helping individuals develop their communication and leadership abilities. With over 16,600 clubs in 142 countries and more than 364,000 members, Toastmasters provides a supportive environment where people can learn to speak confidently, listen actively, and think critically. These essential skills not only enhance personal growth and leadership potential but also promote greater understanding and connection between individuals.

Founded 1st October 1999, Mercury Toastmasters Berlin has grown into a vibrant and inclusive community where individuals unlock their potential as confident communicators and leaders. With 30-60 active members from over a dozen countries, our club offers a uniquely diverse environment where people from all backgrounds come together to grow and improve in leadership and public speaking.

We are Top Performers

Over the years, we’ve celebrated countless achievements. From first-time speakers overcoming stage fright to experienced members winning awards at speech contests across Europe, and some former members even launched our sister club, Center Berlin Toastmasters. Year after year, we’ve been honoured as a President's Distinguished Club — the highest level of recognition a club can achieve.
